Do I need to move the aircraft?

No. Aero Spa is a mobile service. We work at your hangar or ramp spot at McClellan-Palomar Airport, so the aircraft stays where it is. We are self-contained and bring our own equipment and supplies.

How often can you service the aircraft?

Maintenance programs run weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The plan is set around how much the aircraft flies and when it is on the ground. One-off visits are fine too.

How do I get a price?

Do you polish brightwork, correct paint or apply ceramic coatings?

No. The exterior hand wash covers de-greasing, and a wash and wax of all paint, wings, windows and gear, all by hand. We do not machine polish.

Will photos of my aircraft be posted anywhere?

Not without your permission. We photograph the aircraft before and after the work for your records. We do not post photos, tail numbers or identifying details publicly unless the owner or operator agrees.

Services

Every aircraft is cleaned entirely by hand, on-site at KCRQ. No pressure washers forcing water past seals, static ports and bearings. It takes longer. It is better for the aircraft.

Exterior hand wash

Every exterior hand wash includes de-greasing the belly and exhaust areas, and a wash and wax of all paint, wings, windows and gear. Waterless or rinseless, whichever suits the aircraft and where it is parked. Same price either way, and never a pressure washer.

The Cabin Refresh is the base: vacuum, a full wipe-down of every cabin and cockpit surface, leather wiped and cabin glass cleaned. Carpet Cleaning and Leather Clean and Condition are add-ons to it. Book all three and it is priced as the Full Interior Detail.

Maintenance programs

A standing schedule built around the aircraft and how often it flies. The point is to keep it clean enough that every visit is upkeep, so it never gets to where it needs a major restorative detail.

Prices are per visit and start at the amounts shown. The Full Detail is priced with a Maintained exterior. For an Overdue or Heavy exterior, the visit is priced as that exterior wash plus the Full Interior Detail. Bundles save up to 10% against booking the same services one by one. Minimum visit $300.

How we grade the exterior

Maintained: Cleaned in the last two to three months or kept hangared. Light dust, a light film on the belly, few bugs.
Overdue: Several months since the last clean, or tied down outside. Exhaust and oil streaks on the belly, bug build-up, water spotting.
Heavy: Long neglected. Heavy belly grease, staining or a chalky film. Anything beyond this is quoted by the hour with a cap.

What each interior service includes

Cabin Refresh: The base interior service. Vacuum, full wipe-down of every cabin and cockpit surface, leather wiped, cabin glass cleaned.
Carpet Cleaning: Carpets cleaned. Added to the Cabin Refresh.
Leather Clean & Condition: All seats and leather panels cleaned and conditioned. Added to the Cabin Refresh.
Full Detail: A Maintained exterior hand wash plus all three interior services at the bundle price. The complete aircraft in one visit.
Full Interior Detail: All three interior services together at the bundle price.

How pricing works

Firm quote before any work: Pricing depends on aircraft size, configuration and condition. We confirm the price after a walk-around or a few photos.
Condition sets the exterior price: We grade the exterior at the walk-around as Maintained, Overdue or Heavy. There are no exterior add-ons or surprise upcharges.
Minimum visit $300: It applies to the total for the visit, not to each service.
Recurring care: Aircraft kept on a schedule stay at the Maintained price. Ask for a program quote after the first detail.
Where we work: In your hangar or on the ramp at KCRQ, coordinated with your FBO. Mobile and self-contained. Everything we need arrives with us.
Products chosen for aircraft: Cleaners selected for aircraft surfaces and acrylic-safe window care. Cleaning only. No maintenance is performed.
